Are you struggling with issues related to anxiety, trauma, grief, your relationships, or major life changes?
There comes a time in life when we need some guidance and support from a certified professional to help cope with many of life’s challenges.
My name is Kelly Fenimore and I am a licensed mental health counselor, dually licensed in Washington and Oregon, and a Certified EMDR Therapist, and I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Imagine waking up every morning feeling like you can take on the world. How great does that feel?

I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, relational, and psychodynamic philosophy, which I pair with client-centered treatment. I believe we thrive when our human connections are collectively built upon common core values such as honesty, inclusiveness, humility, compassion, and mutual respect. We are interconnected by our humanness, and this includes our need to feel safe, heard, and respected. I believe everyone is born with good intentions, and that when we take the time to be fully present with one another, we will always find those good intentions.
In conjunction with this approach, I apply client-centered treatment. This involves tailoring your treatment to meet your, or your relationship's, specific needs, while also considering your unique circumstances, strengths, and weaknesses. I am well-trained in several evidenced-based practices, most of which can be applied individually or interwoven together. While I am happy to offer some treatment recommendations, your treatment will be a collaborative process.
Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. I promote healing within, as well as behavioral transformation, through a combination of support and guidance, and by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and coping skills.
